How to Energy Test: the Basics

One of the most basic answers everyone needs to make sense of their reality is yes/no. In computer coding it’s 1/0. Does that make answers easy? Not in my experience. You may think of your body as a complicated computer where every energy center has its own yes/no response, and sometimes they disagree for various reasons. Your answers are not always black and white because all the yeses and no’s eventually add up to a fully colored image. But you need a straight answer to start with, so let’s let it be simple to begin with.

An easy way to set your body’s receiver is to use the sway test. Stand with your feet an easy hip width apart, body stacked and relaxed. Place a hand on your heart and a hand on your belly. Imagine your energy flowing like a water hose down through your core into the Earth and up through your core to the Source of All That Is.

Your most beautiful, knowledgeable, aligned self lives there. This self has experienced everything you will ever experience, and knows everything there is to know. It transcends time, like a future version of you looking back on a younger you. It is kind, loving, omniscient, omnipresent, and the highest authority for YOU that you have. I like to refer to it as your Highest Self. I use this method because it reaffirms your sovereignty over you.

Ask your Highest Self to give you a yes answer by asking, “My Highest Self, show me a yes,” and wait with no expectations for which way your body sways. In the beginning it is useful to let your body fall that direction until you have to move to catch yourself. When you feel like you have gotten that answer, ask your Highest Self for a no with the same scripting, and again release the outcome. Your body will sway in another direction. You now have your baseline.

Your input is directly correlated to your answer output. Many kinesiology testing guides will tell you to start with a simple question you know the answer to, like what your name is. If you say, “My name is Seth,” for instance, you will get a yes/no answer if you identify with your name given at birth. But if you are aware of other names given to you, and identify with those more, you will also get a yes/no answer on them. We are multidimensional beings with many aspects and some people haven’t quite figured out which layer they are accessing yet.

So let’s go with an easier question. What did you last eat? If you recall that, fill it in. “I last ate x.” If you get an answer that matches your 3D reality, you know you’re accurate. Try a few of these answers you can corroborate with your own knowledge. Then try answers you know you will get a no on.

The goal is to feel in your body what a yes or no registers as. Give words to the feeling. For example, a no may feel like a weird twinge in the stomach, or a certain color/shade over the brain, or a temporary torsion in your energy channel, like kinking a hose to stop the water from flowing. It may register differently in different energy centers. Whatever it feels like for you, note it.

Once you have practiced a simple yes/no, you can begin adding a third answer. “More info needed” is a good one. “False answer” is another useful tool. Sometimes our belief systems or others’ opinions get in the way of a solid answer, so having a reliable indicator for that helps with finding the right answer.

I could continuebto extrapolate, but this feels like enough for now. Let me know how it works for you!
