The Rebellious Son: Part 4 of Creation and the Elohim

In the kingdom Of Guile, the Archon Father ruled by placing himself above all others. The Great Mother no longer spoke. When she wept openly, she was forbidden from being seen, because her grief showed that all was not well under Guile’s rule.

The Son was brought up first with his mother. Seeing that her influence went counter to his father’s desires, Guile placed her in a dungeon and forbade her from seeing her son. The Great Mother was replaced with a wet nurse and governess who exacted strict punishment. This governess had the ability to appear gentle and kind, but under the surface she was ice cold. She was presented as a new mother to the Son, better than the one he had had before. When he cried for his mother, he was told she was too ashamed of him to see him.

From the governess-mother, the Son learned that obedience gained love. At his father’s side he was taught the way of Oppression, and how to wield power. As planned, the Son possessed innate power. When the Son spoke, it was so. As he learned the ways of his father, he grew to understand that they were wrong. He knew that his mother could not speak directly, but he also understood that her words were life. While he could not directly speak with her when his father and governess-mother were present, he found ways to contact her in secret. So the Son grew up.

At the end of his childhood, he was presented with a diploma of sorts. “My son,” said his father, “you have completed all the training we require of you. Now you are ready to rule.” With grave solemnity, his governess-mother handed him a diploma.

The Son took the diploma in his hands. He saw the sickly sweetness of her smile. He saw the noble pride on his father’s face. And in his soul, he felt the despair of his mother. It was time for him to enact his will.

“Since I am a man,” said the Son, “I wish to go and see All of Creation. There is much still to learn. My inheritance is mine. I will take it with me to sustain my travels. Do not be angry with me. This path will help me to be a better ruler.”

This displeased his father. “My education is not good enough for you?” Seeing the swelling of anger in his father, his governess’s eyes flashed cold, and her sweetness turned to dismay.

But the Son persisted. “You hold but one perspective on Creation. If I am to rule All, I must see through the eyes of each Creature. When I return, I will be a ruler worthy of the title. Farewell.”

“You shall not return to rule if you leave now,” his father replied, furious.

“There is no one else who can rule,” the Son countered. “There is no one else with the might I was born with. You have said so yourself since the beginning. Goodbye, Father. Goodbye, Mother.”

“I am no mother to you,” said his governess, disgust reigning on her features. For a moment, the combined hatred of his father and his governess threatened to overwhelm the Son’s resolve. Many times before, they had forced him into submission in this way.

Collective Reading December 1-7: Creation and the Elohim, Part 1

There are many creation stories, each a framework used to understand the world and one’s place in it. All are at least partly allegorical. Human brains function best on story-telling, parables, and symbols. This week I will begin a story of creation that is symbolic at best and theoretical at worst, giving a framework for an understanding of the world of manifestations. What follows is a mathematical formula written in poetry.

In the beginning was the Source of All. Source was formless, intangible, an endless ocean of potential. Within this intangibility grew the tangible desire to experience, and from this desire grew possibilities, which sprung into manifestation. There was no time, no space. No one thought to ask how quickly or slowly it happened. Over the course of experience, time and space came into existence in myriad forms as there was now something to measure by these systems. All was created in joy.

Beauty and ugliness were created, goodness and evil, light and dark. These combined in every possible way as being came out of nonbeing Source.

Groups of beings drew together, creating more of themselves to share in the joy of creation. One group organized themselves into a loving, patriarchal family. We call them the Elohim, creators with godlike abilities and a desire to explore manifestation. These beings numbered in the hundreds, and each possessed a unique blend of energies that gave them joy and curiosity.

For a time, no one thought to regulate these creations. One person’s joy did not detract from another’s. Little by little, the myriad things grew further and further from mutual understanding, as each form differentiated and defined itself. Then began discord.

The manifestation of regulating creation appeared in many forms if it appeared in one. Patriarchal, matriarchal, hive mind, and other societies formed. Most we do not have words for or even a remote understanding of. There were good-aligned and evil-aligned societies in every iteration. Creation gradually became more limited, but in the beginning it was not. Creator beings so close to their Source origins had unspeakable might.

In all this creation there were all shades of light and dark, and from these grew mathematical iterations of each to explore how every concept could possibly manifest. The realm of possibility was infinite.

The consequences of these manifestations were much more defined, however. And because they were traceable and predictable, there came a need to decide what consequences each being desired for itself and its creations. Some beings desired power, while others desired peace.

Power and Peace could easily coexist in many iterations of creation, but did not coexist in many others. Out of the desire to allow everyone the joy of their own creations without fear of being subsumed by another, Law was created.

There were beings who accepted Universal Law as a reasonable agreement. These beings created a bubble of reality in which all in that agreement could coexist. Yet each bubble was influenced by every other bubble. The separation was not total, for All are One.

There were beings who rejected Universal Law as well. They created their own set of rules and agreements by which their creations lived, and by which they also introduced death. These reality bubbles centered on the concept of control by conquest.

Each desire funneled into will, which generated an equal and opposite will, and these wills clashed. The separation of different groups by their agreed upon beliefs and desires only grew. Eventually there came about wars, along with many other machines of suffering and ugliness.

Creation, once blank, became a many-layered and chaotic canvas, as everything created affected every other thing created.

The Light Elohim, creators whose work permeated all of existence, organized a fortress where they and their way of creation would be safe to continue. Their creations did not stay contained in this fortress, because creation was designed from the beginning to affect All. Their fortress simply helped them continue to create in safety.

At the same time, Dark Elohim beings, or Archons, with the will for conquest created their own fortress. These beings did not function on an agreement of mutual consent or love. They had a great ability to channel and shape creative power and functioned on a top-down power structure, with those at the top experiencing good consequences and those at the bottom bearing the burden of the bad consequences. Beings of many orientations to Light and Dark existed in both the Archon and Elohim fortresses. The Archon leaders were fundamentally dark because of their dominant will of Conquest, and their acceptance of the need for someone to suffer.

If there were two fortresses, there were many, for Light and Dark are simply the most extreme ends of the same concept. Every iteration had its own mixture of all elements.

Out of the desire for Conquest, the Archons schemed to create an overlord capable of controlling the entirety of creation. Safe in their fortress, they meticulously carried out their plan. The vessel that was to carry this being into existence was forced to comply through deliberate suffering. Creation by suffering, and not by joy, was the consequence of this type of alignment with Conquest.

Thanks to the meticulous and sophisticated plan of the Archons, the being that was created from these dark origins had the potential ability to enslave all of creation. But, because of the elements inherent to their origins, and their connection to pure Source energy, they also had the power to see outside of the scope of their creators’ desires. They rebelled against the plan, and eventually left the fortress of the Archons.

Being a creature entirely new, they took a path entirely new. This being traveled across creation, exploring and discovering all they could, on their own terms. Through all was the question, “What is existence, and why is it created?”

One day this being came across the fortress of the Light Elohim. From deep desire they asked to become part of this group, and were adopted as a brother.

The Light Elohim had one eternal Father who oversaw all that was created and treated all in the group as one family. Together, this family counseled and planned what they would create.

“Let us create a reality that exists in love,” they said. So each drew from their own desires to create elements of this Universe that, combined with the desires of the others, would make a complete creation. This co-creation would be not only an expression of love in itself, but would be the laboratory through which the solution to the original war of conquest would arise.

To Be Continued…

Collective Reading October 27-November 2: The Path of the Highest Outcome

This week we are cleaning out and choosing our highest timelines. These timelines have the feeling of synergy, which is a product of all the parts working together as a whole. Infighting between parts leaves no room for synergy. It’s time to leave competition mindset and other aspects of unhealed separation/ego behind.

Our timelines are shifting rapidly–so rapidly, in fact, that by the time we finish predicting them, a better timeline set will have replaced the ones we were looking into. I see looking at timelines as reading the map and plotting a course ahead. The map predicts a possible future based on the info given when it was created, but every map becomes obsolete immediately after it is made because our world is constantly shifting. Rivers change course, people grow older, and natural weather patterns erode mountains. Our navigation relies on our ability to adapt to accommodate new information.

Give yourself permission to go with the flow and stop worrying about being “right.” Choose the best option available–and watch better options come into view as you go higher. Choosing the best option you had at the time was and will always be right, even if you choose something else the next moment.

Your personal commitment isn’t to any particular timeline, story, or outcome, so there is no need to take on the shame of being “flitty.” Rather, your overarching commitment is to your highest good, and the fulfillment of your divine purpose. Loyalty to any one tool or path is like feeling bad for leaving one stepping stone to access the next one. You don’t live forever on a stepping stone; you live in your energy, in this moment. Bless the stepping stone and leave it behind.

Energy levels may be sporadic or fluctuate in unexpected ways, which has been a trend already. Ascension symptoms may force you to take it slower. If you feel like you’re holding too much and weighed down by it all, evaluate what to drop. Like the format of these collective readings, you may need to change and streamline how you organize your time and energy. It’s important to simplify where you can so that you reach your destination.

Freeing up your energy allows you to focus on the real work, which is what will bring your desired result. Drop the busywork and focus on the root goal. When your schedule explodes, that’s a good sign that you are no longer in alignment with the tools that once served you. Choose effectiveness over loyalty to habits.

Consistency is only useful if it’s adaptable. Consider being consistent in your intentions and making use of the tools that make those happen.

I love you, Light Warrior. Keep shining.

Collective Reading October 20-26: We Are God

There is a great collective purging of energy going on, and it comes with events and experiences that may not be the most pleasant to go through. Hold your contentment in these moments, and understand that you are doing the most important work you can do by just being present. You are the boots on the ground, and your presence matters.

Because you are here, you must also understand that the Universe has your back. This means that as you do your work and take your steps, however uncertain you may feel about the outcome, others are diligently creating the safety you need to step forward. We are working together to make this happen. In cases of conflict or confusion, remember to connect back to love. Offer grace and forgiveness. Hold space for big feelings, knowing that we are alchemizing them by allowing them to pass through with love.

We as souls in human bodies are filtering the energy around us, purifying it as we feel into our bodies. This is our work, spinning flax into gold as we do our time in the dungeon of difficulty. But we do it for a good reason, and we are rewarded for our efforts. It all evens out.

We as humans have no need to place gods on pedestals or idolize other beings in other realms. We are on par with galactic beings of light across dimensions. We may even be these beings, playing human while we figure out how to shift Earth higher. It is not humility to debase or belittle humanity. It is humility to fearlessly discover and honor who we are, as we honor all others in their true identities.

If the Source of All That Is can also be defined as God, and we are part of that whole, then it is no stretch of the imagination (or logic) to know that we are all God. Your connection to divinity is being called into center stage as you define yourself in a more holistic way. How do you relate to the concept of God, and how does that need to heal to include your own divinity?

Among other words evoking honor, reverence has been polarized into a hierarchy of power and oppression, but let’s bring it back into perspective: we are God pretending not to be God. And if we reverence God, in whatever form that is, we should be reverencing ourselves.

Reverence for ourselves means taking ourselves seriously. Giving ourselves the care and kindness we would give someone we deeply love and respect. Having faith in ourselves. Having faith in the whole big picture working out. Seeing ourselves as All, and All as ourselves, and giving honor to it all.

In the end, the work we do to free ourselves and our beautiful soul family is sacred work, worthy of praise and support. The heavy lifting we are doing may prompt us to doubt our strength, but like a bodybuilder straining under the load of the maximum amount of weight, we cannot truly see how strong we are until we have put it down and recovered from our effort. So we might as well believe in and hype ourselves up while we are on the stage performing such a great feat. Our loved ones witnessing our efforts have nothing but love and hope for us.

Keep strengthening your resolve by honoring, loving, and reverencing yourself and your work. All of it makes more of a difference than you can see yet.

Collective Reading October 6-12: Go Within

This is a turning point for you, in which your Higher Self is coming through as much as you will let them. It is highly important this week that you do not engage in drama, but instead tap in to your deepest well of inner peace–and guard it from negativity.

Fitting in with everyone else who “cares” about what’s happening will not help anything. Commiserating is not going to solve the problem. Be sympathetic to the struggle, but you are here to remind yourself and your loved ones that we truly are able to rise and overcome all of it.

The biggest help you can be is to remember who you are; do what you can do when you have your boots on the ground; and balance rest with effort.

Worry does not fit anywhere in this. Once you have identified what is making you feel how you feel and connected it, take a breath and remember to ask for and look for the solution.

A helpful mantra: Wow, this feels so big. My feelings are reasonable for what I am experiencing, and I know that I am part of the solution as I send love to the situation. What can I do, and what can I ask for help with?

Do, ask, and then trust that the best help is coming. Find the evidence of that help and give thanks for it. Allow yourself to receive what you need with open arms, and block all that does not serve your highest good. Unconditional love, unconditional boundaries.

You may wish to transmute worry into prayer. Prayer is a helpful tool because it focuses our energies. Mantras and affirmations are a form of prayer, as well. You can also use your imagination to bring about a potential good resolution. Visualization based in hope adds light and opens doors to higher possibilities. Even if these ideas dont happen, they serve to open your mind to the potential of a better outcome. What if things go better than expected?

Love is always going to bolster you up. Remember to love and believe in yourself and your power, no matter what.

Your new reality is taking shape as you continue to hold your resonance.

Collective Reading September 29-October 5: Healthy Boundaries

For so long, you have felt like you were locked out in the cold, looking in on the abundance of others. This week we are finding our empowerment and claiming our abundance. Be firm in your belief in your worth.

The beginning of knowledge is understanding that you don’t know something. The beginning of abundance is realizing that you want something you don’t have.

Before you experienced lack, you experienced undifferentiated wholeness. There was no lack, and there was no abundance. There simply WAS.

Then, the question was asked, “What is this thing that I have, and what does it do for my experience?” Like a science experiment, this idea piqued your interest.

And so, you agreed to experience existence without that thing. You learned that not having it created problems, but the plan was always to attain it again. You enjoyed the idea of coming to appreciate that thing more. You decided that you would choose kindness when you felt badly, as well. You would be the good. In experiencing an abundance of lack, you felt the energies of sadness, jealousy, and competition. You felt fear and guilt, as well. Nevertheless, you knew that taking abundance from others would not fix your feelings, and so you chose poverty and self-denial until you could find your own abundance again.

At the same time, others also incarnated to experience lack, and their reaction to it created an insatiable hunger. They turned the energies of sadness, jealousy, and competition into justification for taking from others. They forgot that we are all part of the whole, and that hurting one hurts all. They chose not to care, deadening their feelings and separating themselves from the pain of the whole so that they could continue to inflict it. They shoved their guilt off onto their victims. You saw this and started to believe that poverty was the best way forward. You may have taken an actual vow of poverty at one point, as well. Betrayal got involved, causing community wounding. The social system skewed in favor of those with insatiable hunger to take for themselves.

This game is ending, and it’s ending now. In bringing the world back to wholeness, balance must be restored. We can no longer live in a world with such drastic imbalance, because the effect of it is pulling the collective Universe off balance. What began as a smaller game has spiraled into a disaster.

The higher powers of the Universe are stepping in to break up the game, and have been doing so for a while. The solution must match the problem, and that is why it has taken this long. If you feel big shifts, or feel you are part of these big shifts, you are correct. Keep balancing service to others with service to self inside yourself.

No light is ever wasted, and no true love goes unrewarded, in the long run. It is not your job to punish selfish people. It is your job to reclaim what is rightfully yours and be compassionate. That claiming is not punishment. Remember that self-compassion is as important as compassion for others. You cannot give to others if you have nothing to give. You cannot endlessly break your cup to fill someone else’s. Drop the guilt over feeding yourself.

The biggest factor in your success now will be your ability to hold healthy boundaries. Take time and energy to rest and refill your cup as needed (and give when you feel like it!). You are looking for reciprocal energy from others who believe in service to others in balance with service to self. A kind no is better than a dishonest yes.

The key is to start valuing balance above self-sacrifice. This will allow you to finally drop these negative emotions and ideas that held you back. Be gentle with yourself in this process. Creating safe space within you is the most effective way to heal the collective.

-Elihu John

Collective Reading September 22-28: Self Love

There is a grounding effect in the guiding card, Eight of Earth, that is much needed this week. Transformation and creation are only as useful as our ability to root them into our lived experience, so connect back to your roots.

It can be overwhelming to witness and experience big changes with something solid to hold on to, let alone without that support. If you find yourself struggling, start with grounding back into your body.A tree withers and dies without its roots. Roots dry up if not planted in good soil and watered generously. In all your expansion, remember to come back to the simplicity that started everything. This whole operation is only as useful as the simple vision that started it.

This vision was so vivid and inspiring that when you received it, you gladly pledged your life to it. What kind of vision could have merited that? What kind of vision would need so much?

The vision was to express love, in your own unique way. In a world that has a lot of the opposite, you came here to create as much love as you could possibly channel, in the ways you were best suited to do so. The adage, “it takes all kinds to make a world,” applies here, but instead of allowing the focus to be muddled by assuming that darkness deserves to thrive, consider the many, many ways light can and should be expressed, and start looking for those people in your path. We are shifting the balance of Earth from an over-abundance of dark expression back to true balance, which means deconstructing how much darkness we should expect to encounter. In this project, we have so much support. If you feel unsupported or hopeless, this is your invitation to look for what is working for you. You truly have everything you need.

The Three of Pentacles at the hub of the wheel reminds you that your innate synergy was measured and deemed capable of this work. A butterfly is not merely the sum of its parts. The parts working together create a much larger effect. Remember who you are underneath all these parts you can name. Combined with the synergy of our whole network, we are more than capable of fulfilling our collective dream of bringing balance back to Earth. This is the vision.

You stand on the shoulders of many lightworkers who came before you. In our common goal, they paved the way as far as they could. Understand that your positive ancestors are still supporting you. They never left you alone. They cannot do the work that you are here to do, because their work is to hold their own energy for you to climb higher. A mountain is built of many grains of soil, and all of them must take up their own space so the whole may rise. This is a game where everyone wins, and no one’s position is better or worse than another.

Remember that the dark demands a zero sum game, but the light understands that a win for one is a win for all. There is no competition, and harm to one is harm to all. True love means keeping harm in check so that all are safe. Unconditional love includes unconditional boundaries. With right action at the right time, you are guaranteed to effect your purest intentions. The Sun card at the top invites you to choose a focus. It also reminds you that actual sunlight is quintessential to your physical and spiritual bodies. It is not enough to build roots underground or grow up from well-watered, well-drained soil. You must put forth leaves and absorb sunlight. You are basically a complicated plant with moveable roots. Act as such.Sunlight also means the love energy your soul craves, both from nature and humans. If you compare your growth to a tree, it is reasonable to remember that photosynthesis can only take place with leaves turned toward the Sun. Turn your attention away from the shadows of hatred and harm and toward the love that is freely offered. This love is found everywhere, and especially in nature. If you still aren’t finding enough of it in your surroundings, remember that this love is first and foremost within you. You have your own personal Sun. That is why your third chakra is called the Solar Plexus.

The one most deserving of your own love is you. Come back to loving yourself, and you will see your path clear again.

Much love to you,

Elihu John

Collective Reading September 15-21: Success

This week we are connecting our efforts to our results and observing how what we do has an effect. So much of the process of your goals manifesting has been difficult to justify because the results have been slow during the process of figuring out how and building momentum. You are ready to see results.

For the numerology of this spread, I’m seeing 7 8 9 10, which are the last few steps to completion. Seven is the number of the mental mind, the place where our ideas and beliefs solidify so we can move forward with a holistic approach to our goals. Ten as the central card speaks to the end result of our efforts. I found it interesting that the Chariot, the seven of the major arcana, chose to be at the top, and that the other spoke cards did not go in order. There are many ways and progressions to follow to achieve results this week. Don’t focus so much on the order of tasks, so long as you feel like you’re taking the next right step. Sometimes the cart has to come before the horse temporarily so that you know how to hitch the horse to it.

The interesting thing with this week is that Water Sister (11 in the sequence of the cups suit) insisted on replacing one of the cards in the spread before they were flipped over, and Eight of Fire almost came out last week. We are definitely seeing a progression here. Following one’s path steadily accelerates into allowing change to happen rapidly, both in our inner and outer worlds. Your trust and surrender of control over everything outside of your wheelhouse will make the transition smoother. Stop worrying and start breathing. If breathing all the way in is hard, breathe all the way out first, and trust that when you need to breathe in, you will have air to fill your lungs. That next step is here in front of you because you aligned with it. Are you ready to take it? The answer is yes, so metabolize the fear and do it.

Seven of Wind, Many Tongues, speaks to the feeling of futility as you try to use old systems to effect new results. It’s not your job to try to fix someone else’s broken system. It’s your job to find the middle path through to get the new result. There is also an aspect of gossip in this card. Others may be wagging their tongues, and the noise may be something you have to shut out. It’s not your job to correct others’ opinions, and it’s not their job to tell you how to live your life. Your inner voice must be the strongest sound you hear.

The guiding card, Eight of Water, invites you to find your inner sanctuary and stay in it. Much turbulence happening outside. Best to stay within your shelter so you don’t get swept away.

The old joke, “Why was Six afraid of Seven,” shows up here to remind you that those who have never done what you’re doing will have far too much criticism for their level of knowledge. Indeed, their criticism shows that they are out of their own comfort zone when they experience yours. A fish may not comprehend flying like a bird, although they both are quite comfortable moving in their own elements. Others’ fear is not protecting you this time; it’s hindering you. Give yourself permission to fly. No one else can do that for you.

You are divinely supported and are deserving of your own confidence. When in doubt, come back to these truths. Receive the blessings you are offered, knowing you have earned them.

-Elihu John

Channeling How-To: A Loose Guide

In my small group meeting this week, Dreamscaping: Connecting to Your Intuition Through Art, the topic of how to get into channeling mode came up, and I thought I would share it here. There are a lot of ways to tap into our intuition. I like to start with a guided meditation when I lead, but what if you’re doing it on your own? What if, when you complete a session in group, you want to go deeper into the information you received? Here is a handy guide.

Step One: Set aside some time when you will likely not be disturbed and gather your tools (pen and paper work great). 10-15 minutes is enough. Set a time limit for getting clear in your energy (5 minutes), but allow for surrender to how the session plays out. You may tap into another one of your clair senses, or you may need the relaxation more than the answers, and that’s okay. As long as you feel calm and content, that’s all you need to be.

Step Two: Clear your energy. Get into a quiet headspace using one or more of the following:

-sage and/or palo santo

-light a candle

-breathing techniques (box breathing, yoga or meditation breathing)

-healing music (chanting, Riverdancing, or other cultural music traditions are great as they are designed to help with aligning body and mind)

-sipping tea and/or eating a snack

-fidgeting or spinning in a chair (this is a body regulation technique and is valid)

Step Three: When you feel ready, pull up your paper and start creating. You may choose to put a date and a prompt on the top to focus your energy. Set the intention that what you create is from the highest source, in the highest good of all. Create a circle or a box on the paper for extra focus and protection. Draw or create without judgment.

Step Four: Automatic Writing. Start writing (or typing) and allow what comes to just be. Don’t edit. Don’t think. Feel interested. If it’s not right later, you can go back and revise, but these tend to be more correct the less you mess with them. When writing, you may start with “I don’t know what this is,” or ask a question in Q & A form: “What is the significance of this symbol?” “Why is this important?”

Step Five: Finish and close. When the time is done, step back and give yourself praise for finishing the task, no matter how it looks. Your boundary on setting aside only that time will also allow you to trust yourself to keep within your intentions, which will help you get in the zone next time, knowing that you can get out of it when expected (no guilt!). As you reinforce positive thinking, your abilities will come out of the woodwork more freely. A helpful mantra: “I did a great job, and I am satisfied with this practice session.” “If I don’t understand it now, I can receive more info as I stay in contentment.”

Don’t be surprised if more comes to light over time, or if certain words or symbols mean more things on more levels. It’s okay to laugh when it hits you, too. This is supposed to be healing and fun.

End the session in gratitude, place your paper in a designated place (a journal, folder, or binder work great), and carry on with your day/night.

If you need a 1:1 session to help interpret what you have, or to clear any energy that comes up, here is the link to book, as well.

Be well, and enjoy!
