Collective Reading February 25-March 2: Play Your Part

Your ability to truly connect with others in good faith will be a highlight of this week. “My heart will love again,” is what I’m hearing. But what about your sacral? What about the roots you choose to put down now, knowing the sting of having them severed before? Expanding again takes courage, faith, and reliance on your intuition. You must learn how to trust yourself, take reasonable risks (involving deliberate use of all your faculties together), and be alright with whatever the outcome. Head, heart, eyes, and felt sense (among others) come together to give you a fuller picture.

When we experience a massive disappointment or betrayal, it isn’t the moment it happened that matters. It’s the endless time we spend afterward abusing ourselves, thinking every detail through and fitting them into a false narrative centered around how we went wrong.

Sometimes we encounter darkness simply because it is passing by. In a world of collisions and meetings, curiosity and contrast, we are bound to happen upon something we don’t like from time to time. Not everything we see is something we have to entertain. Sometimes we can let it pass through without resistance and say, “Wow, I am nothing like that. This is good information.”

It’s okay to study things we don’t understand, so long as it stays in its place. When we start to wonder whether we are the thing we saw, it becomes a problem. Your job is to stay connected to yourself and allow everything that is not you to provide the backdrop for who you are. You are not to explain yourself. You are to be seen shining. This is not pride but true humility.

The opposite of narcissism is echoism. Both are unbalanced extremes. Do not hide from the spotlight when it comes around. Stand where you’re supposed to and allow the light to go wherever it will, whether that is on you or not. “All the world’s a stage, and the people on it merely players.” Be your best self, and don’t worry about the parts of other players. You can’t speak everyone’s lines, and yours are irreplaceable. So, too, your role is uniquely made for you, and no one can play it better.

True versatility on this world stage means not depending on the position of the spotlight to maintain your position. No one is center stage all the time, and no one is in the wings all the time. We all move together as one cast, playing our separate parts.

The dark will be dark, and the light will be light. You can interact with all of it, trusting that what you see is accurate enough. Trust your judgment, learn gently from mistakes, and treat everyone accordingly. In this way, you can trust and love again, this time even better.

You were never wrong for having experienced contrast. You are here to explore everything and anything that contributes to your ultimate highest good. It will all end well; enjoy the play while it lasts.

Collective Reading February 18-24: Harmony

The Norse story of Odin hanging upside down from the World Tree to understand the Runes holds wisdom for you this week. It is important for you to get out of victim mentality and remember that everything you come across is something you can use.

An empath will first observe, then take on the pattern of dysfunction and its accompanying symptoms, and finally unlearn and overcome these, becoming aligned with their original Self once more. Empathy is a tool that allows humans to learn from the inside out, but where people often get stuck is in forgetting who they actually are. What was merely a mask becomes their identity. You were never meant to become someone else.

Everything you know about yourself through your experiences is not really you. Who you are is the remedy to the problem. Who you are is indefinable, which is why no words to describe you will ever suffice.

Instead of trying to explain yourself, try being present. Stop intellectualizing and start existing. Stop rationalizing your feelings and start observing them. It’s hard to listen when you’re speaking. On the other hand, speaking in order to connect with others is a valid way. Those who seek healthy connection with you desire to hear what you have to say, because your words have healing behind them.

Not everyone who wants to hear you has the best intentions. Some are drawn to your energy because they don’t remember how to access their own. Be choosy with whom you share what, and why. Craving social acceptance comes from a place of wounding, whereas enjoying the company of those who are happy to be in your presence when the occasion arises allows for people to come and go without friction. You always have you.

Maintain universal boundaries so that no exceptions can circumvent your protections. Boundaries without exceptions are the simplest way and will free up the energy you need to do what you actually want to do, which is to give and receive love.

You do not need. You have everything you allow. Remember to connect with your Authentic Self in all ways, while allowing others to be themselves. Harmony is not unity. This coexistence is a dance of many partners moving on the floor in collaboration. Enjoy this expansion of your awareness, knowing you are whole in yourself.

Collective Reading February 11-17: Alchemizing Grief

This week, we are realizing just how full our plates are. And we are invited to make choices.

You can’t hold everything all at once. You can hold higher and diverse perspectives, emotions… consciousness, essentially. Remember that emotional consciousness can either be focused and fluid, or it can wreak havoc by being stuck or chaotic.

What you feel, you manifest, and when you feel something, your brain starts to rationalize it. Unconditional well-being is the key to happiness. It seems ludicrous or insensitive to be happy when something is going wrong, though, which is why you justify it. And justifying it allows for counter-arguments, which then interrupt your well-being.

If you truly want a good life, enjoy a good feeling and let the rest of your life shape itself around it. Life is complex, and multiple things exist at once. One person’s bad day is another person’s best day, and it’s all about perspective. Your shoelace can untie and trip you, and in the next moment your coffee can be paid by the person in front of you who was catalyzed by love to cheer you up. You can either dwell on the shoelace or the kindness of a stranger. There is grace in having human moments, because the contrast gives us opportunities to love.

You can’t rationalize grief or anger away and expect them to disappear. To do so would be to deny yourself access to half of the power that you were born with. Everything that comes to you can be used for the highest good. To do that, love yourself and your feelings so fiercely that every feeling becomes sacred. You were meant to experience the full spectrum of emotions. Your experiences are your color palette in the painting of your life. How you use each color in your picture is up to you. You are the artist.

There are perfectly valid reasons to be upset everywhere you look. Understand also that the best day of your life can happen in the midst of intense suffering, because your mindset is everything. Sooner or later, the heavy things get too heavy to keep carrying, and you have to choose to surrender to unconditional love or face being pulled apart.

You don’t have to brace against having your arms rip off if you just drop the boulder. Your arms will naturally stay attached when the load you carry does not exceed the muscles and tendons. Let go of what you cannot change–and learn where it fits in the bigger picture.

Sometimes, the wisest choice is acceptance of what is, knowing that everything is okay and whole. Move with it. If you deny its existence, it will hit you. It’s like being on the ocean: you can stay on the choppy surface and only see the waves crash around you, or you can dive deeper and find the endless calm. Storms, while violent, are part of the circulation of fresh nutrients. Choose your relationship to the waves according to what feeds your soul.

You were meant for love. You deserve to write your own story, paint your own picture, and free yourself from heavy burdens. When life gets you down, you deserve to find the way back up, and when storms come, you deserve to dive deep and experience calm. The good and bad exist together because we live in duality. Denying the good will not make the bad go away. Embracing the existence of both removes resistance and clears your vision, and then you get to choose what to experience more of. For best results, choose joy.

Not only do I read Tarot for the collective, I also do energy work to help smooth the path forward. Tarot is valuable as a means of restructuring how we think about ourselves, our lives, and the world around us. But sometimes, mental clarity is simply not enough. Energy work helps to move the old patterns and old energy out, while bringing in fresh energy and reorienting us on our way. Sometimes the blocks to our joy are not something we can clear ourselves. Book a virtual energy session here and start feeling better.

Have a wonderful week, and remember to be gentle with yourself.

Collective Reading February 4-10: In the Meantime, Thrive

You have hit a new level of limitations that you are ready to dismantle. Often when we are expanding, we find ourselves stretching against a wall or box that we have been stuck inside for a while. This could be a limitation placed in a past or parallel life that has so far kept us from the success we dreamed of having. And while it feels frustrating and, at times, overwhelming, trust that you are seeing it because you are getting ready to break through.

Everything challenging that has manifested into your life has done so with the caveat that you have the power to either resolve it yourself or find someone who can do it for you. The concept of a savior is one that has been distorted to mean that the one being saved is somehow less than the one saving, and therefore the one being saved must grovel and act in submission to the one saving. But let’s walk that back.

Someone who is here to help you does not do so with the expectation of your worship or debasement. Your guides do not expect you to give them an offering, nor do the Ascended Masters, such as Jesus or Buddha or Lord Shiva. They see your incarnation as a sacrifice you made to the Universe in the common cause of clearing the darkness and bringing Enlightenment to the Earth.

You are a literal part of god incarnate, and you expect shame for what you have done out of love. No true “savior” will ever expect you to be ashamed of yourself or harm yourself in any way. In fact, doing so makes their offered help harder to offer. They don’t want to feed off you. They don’t need a tax. They have their own connection to Source to sustain them, and they have the wisdom to know when they can and cannot help. If you ask, they will tell you.

By a different token, asking for payment for service in a 3D world is not wrong. When dealing with the need for money and energy stores that are rationed over time, one must give and take in a balanced way. The act of giving and taking in itself is a meditation, designed to undo the scarcity that you experienced. Gratitude is often shown by offering payment, and receiving payment is the other half of that transaction. Energy in the form of money does not come from Earth, but from one’s connection to Source. If you are open to receive, you will receive it. If you designate that money toward your needs, you will attract the service needed that the money energy goes towards. Breathe in, breathe out. Your air is rationed, or else your lungs would explode with the sheer amount of air you inhale over your lifetime, and implode with the force of your collected outbreaths.

The limitations you feel now are centered in fear and hurt. Fear caused by some event or events that convinced you to allow harm into your experience, and hurt when you experienced something other than the unconditional love of the Universe/Universal Love/Source. That these things have happened is not in question. But are you going to sit in those past experiences and continue to draw more of them to you, or are you going to climb out of the cold and dirty tub of water that was once fresh and hot? The past is done. Stop wallowing in it. Leave it be and move on to the next thing.

How do you hold both the reality of suffering and the reality of abundance? How do you recognize that bad things have happened and are ramping up in some places, while also enjoying the wealth and peace that are yours to receive now? The answer lies in being in the right place at the right time.

Stop worrying about the bad. Worry freezes you and keeps you from moving to your next safe spot. If you can help solve something, do so. If you can’t, trust and ask that someone else will. We are working as a team, and that means that there are pockets of well-being and rejuvenation that each member can bask in between tasks.

You are not alone. You just do your bit for the war effort and allow the rest of the team to catch you when needed. Seven of Wind is about wisdom to know the difference between Your Work and Someone Else’s Work, and being mindful of working around the sharp edges softly so as not to cut yourself. Communication is key, and is the antidote to the loneliness.

Remember your joy and put your mind and emotions there most of the time, while allowing yourself to feel the other stuff when needed, for a limited duration. The work gets done over time. In the meantime, thrive.
